Application security testing

Application security testing, end to end.

What we run for you every time: scope and threat model, static and dependency scans, dynamic testing plus manual pentest, CVSS-scored findings, closed-loop retest, and an evidence pack ready for auditors.

  • SAST
  • DAST
  • Manual pentest

What you get

Testing that holds up under scrutiny.

Signed rules of engagement

Nothing runs before scope and rules are agreed in writing.

Senior testers on critical paths

Manual validation, not just scanner output.

Reproducible findings

CVSS-scored, with steps to reproduce and fix guidance.

Proof the gap is closed

Retest until every finding closes or has a documented waiver.

The problem

Scan reports nobody can act on.

Automated scans without manual validation produce noise. Enterprise buyers and auditors want reproducible findings, fix guidance and proof that remediation actually closed the gap.

How a cycle runs

The six-step cycle.

  1. Scope

Assets, threat model and rules of engagement.

  2. Static and dependency

SAST, SCA and secret scanning across codebase and CI.

  3. Dynamic and manual

    DAST plus authenticated manual pentest.

  4. Findings

    CVSS-scored, reproducible, with fix guidance.

  5. Retest

Every finding closed, or a documented waiver.

  6. Evidence pack

    Ready for the audit partner.

What this includes

Also in scope.

  • Threat modeling and scoped test plans
  • SAST, SCA and secret scanning across codebase and CI
  • DAST plus authenticated manual pentest
  • Cloud review
  • AI and LLM red team and governance review

How we work

How we run it.

  1. Step 1

Signed rules of engagement before anything runs

  2. Step 2

Chained static, dependency and dynamic testing

  3. Step 3

Manual validation of critical paths by a senior tester

  4. Step 4

A retest loop until findings close

Client example (anonymized)

What one engagement delivered.

We ran the security cycle end to end, closed 42 findings with the client's team, and our audit partner took their SOC 2 report over the line. The client signed its first enterprise deal the next quarter.

FAQ

Common questions.

How long does a full cycle take?

Most engagements run four to eight weeks, depending on application size and remediation velocity. We scope up front.

Who signs the test report?

For attestation, an independent pentest firm or audit partner signs, not TechEsthete. We run the testing, the retest and the evidence pack, then hand over to the partner.

Scope a test cycle.

Tell us what needs testing and who is asking for the report. We'll scope assets, rules of engagement and timeline.
